Cyberpunk 2077's Fortnite Debut: Why No Male V?
Fortnite players eagerly awaited the arrival of Cyberpunk 2077 items, and the crossover finally arrived to much fanfare. While the cosmetic set proved popular, the absence of the male version of protagonist V sparked fan speculation and debate about CD Projekt Red's marketing strategies. However, the explanation is less complex than initially thought.

According to Patrick Mills, the Cyberpunk 2077 lore expert responsible for the final decision, the bundle was designed for only two characters, one of which had to be Johnny Silverhand. This left no space for both male and female versions of V. With Johnny already male, selecting the female V was a practical choice, further influenced by Mills' personal preference.

Ultimately, it wasn't a deliberate exclusion, but a matter of logistical constraints. This marks Keanu Reeves' second Fortnite skin appearance, following the earlier inclusion of John Wick.
