Locating Green Fly Traps in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Green Fly Traps, easily identifiable by their spiky, green appearance, are found within the Wild Tangle biome's Grasslands and Promenade areas. However, their spawn rate is low (a maximum of two typically appear at once), and their color can make them difficult to spot amongst the foliage. They can spawn virtually anywhere within these areas, so thorough exploration is key. Respawn time is approximately 60 minutes. Note that Purple Fly Traps also spawn in the same locations. It's advisable to collect all Fly Traps in an area and return after an hour to allow for respawn.
Utilizing Green Fly Traps
Green Fly Traps are crucial for several quests and crafting recipes:
- Mickey's Flower Power: Requires six Green Fly Traps.
- The Wild Tangle's Swarm (Gaston's Friendship Quest): Requires four Green Fly Traps, along with other items, to create a Carnivorous Floral Arrangement. This quest unlocks after completing "The Wanderer of the Dunes."
Beyond quests, Green Fly Traps are used in crafting these Eternity Isle items:
- Green Cobra Statue
- Green Leafy Trellis
- Potted Lily Pad Bush
They can also be sold at Goofy's Stall for 73 Gold Star Coins each. Therefore, collecting Green Fly Traps whenever encountered is beneficial for both quest completion and crafting.
