Honkai Star Rail's 'Finest Duel' Unveiled in Epic 2.4 Update

HoYoverse has unveiled the details for Honkai: Star Rail's upcoming 2.4 update, titled "Finest Duel Under the Pristine Blue," launching July 31st. This update is packed with exciting new content, including new characters, locations, and events. Let's explore what awaits!

New Destinations and Characters

The Astral Express journeys to a new area within Xianzhou Luofu: The Shackling Prison. Players will also explore the workplaces of Xueyi and Hanya.

Two new 5-star characters join the roster: Yunli (Destruction) and Jiaoqiu (Nihility). Popular characters Sparkle and Huohuo return, adding to the excitement. Yunli and Huohuo arrive in Phase 1 (July 31st), alongside Lynx, Yukong, and Hanya. Phase 2 (August 21st) introduces Jiaoqiu, Sparkle, Arlan, Guinaifen, and Hook.

New Light Cones and Event Rewards

Two new 5-star Light Cones debut: Yunli's signature "Dance at Sunset" (Phase 1) and Jiaoqiu's signature "Those Many Springs" (Phase 2). Returning Light Cones include Huohuo's "Night of Fright" and Sparkle's "Earthly Escapade."

Abundant Events and In-Game Activities

Players can look forward to a new Trailblaze Continuance Mission, Yunli's Companion Mission, and the Xianzhou Luofu's Shackling Prison exploration. The "Gift of Odyssey" check-in event awards 10 Special Star Rail Passes.

The "Saga of Primaveral Blade" event features training with March 7th, Yanqing, and Yunli for a duel against the IPC's Scott. Rewards include Stellar Jade, Self-Modeling Resin, a new chat box style, Tracks of Destiny, and March 7th's Eidolon.

Additional events, "Garden of Plenty" and "Planar Fissure," offer double drops for valuable resources.
