Dragon Quest X Offline, a single-player version of the popular MMORPG, is launching on iOS and Android in Japan tomorrow! Japanese players can purchase the offline version at a discounted price, enjoying the game's unique real-time combat and other MMORPG features on mobile.
This release marks a significant event for Japanese fans, especially considering the game's initial 2012 release and the subsequent 2022 console and PC offline version. Interestingly, a mobile port was initially planned way back in 2013 by Ubitu.
Unfortunately, there's currently no news regarding a global release for Dragon Quest X Offline. While a global launch isn't impossible, given the original game's Japan-only release, hopes for a mobile international release remain uncertain. This is a missed opportunity for many international fans who would likely appreciate the chance to experience this unique entry in the Dragon Quest series on mobile.
