Review codes for the game will be distributed in the coming days following its gold master status achievement in early December, according to Tobias Stolz-Zwilling, the global public relations manager. To allow reviewers and streamers sufficient time to prepare their reviews, these codes are expected to be released four weeks before the game's launch.
Interestingly, initial "final previews," based on sections of the review build, are anticipated a week after the code distribution.
The developers have shifted the release date to ensure a polished and exceptional gaming experience for players at the start of 2025. The new release date is February 4th. This adjustment also strategically avoids direct competition with the launches of Assassin's Creed Shadows, Avowed, and Monster Hunter Wilds, all slated for February.
The game will be available on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5. Console players can expect 4K/30 fps and 1440p/60 fps support, with PS5 Pro optimization included at launch.
PC gamers aiming for ultra settings will require a system with at least an Intel Core i7-13700K or AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor, 32GB of RAM, and a GeForce RTX 4080 or Radeon RX 7900 XT graphics card.
