Marvel Rivals Season 1: Character Popularity and Win Rates Revealed
NetEase has released the first month's player statistics for Marvel Rivals, highlighting the most and least popular characters. The data reveals surprising trends in character selection and win rates across Quickplay and Competitive modes on both PC and console.
The upcoming Season 1, launching January 10th, introduces the Fantastic Four, adding Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman immediately, with The Human Torch and The Thing arriving later. This influx of new heroes might significantly alter the current meta.
Before the Season 1 launch, NetEase shared a "Hero Hot List," showcasing top performers. Jeff the Land Shark reigns supreme as the most picked hero in Quickplay across all platforms. However, the competitive scene shows a different picture: Cloak & Dagger dominate on consoles, while Luna Snow leads on PC.
Marvel Rivals: Most Popular Heroes
- Quickplay (PC & Console): Jeff the Land Shark
- Competitive (Console): Cloak & Dagger
- Competitive (PC): Luna Snow
While Jeff enjoys immense popularity, Mantis unexpectedly boasts the highest win rate overall, exceeding 50% in both Quickplay (56%) and Competitive (55%). Other high-performing characters include Loki, Hela, and Adam Warlock.
Conversely, Storm, a Duelist character, suffers from a significantly low pick rate (1.66% in Quickplay and a mere 0.69% in Competitive), largely due to player criticism of her underwhelming damage and frustrating gameplay. Fortunately, Season 1 balance changes promise substantial buffs for Storm, potentially boosting her popularity.
