Monster Hunter Now's Season 5: The Blossoming Blade is almost here! Niantic has unveiled all the exciting details for the upcoming season, launching March 6th, 2025. Prepare for new challenges, monsters, weapons, and a revamped Season Pass.
Pre-Season Sneak Peek:
Even before Season 5 begins, players can encounter the Chatacabra starting February 28th, marking its debut before its appearance in Monster Hunter Wilds. The official launch will also introduce Glavenus and Arzuros to the hunt.
Weapon Enhancements:
Expect significant balance adjustments to weapons, aiming to improve the viability and enjoyment of each weapon type. The Sword & Shield receives a buff, enhancing tail-breaking capabilities. The Perfect Rush Combo (SP) will be more rewarding with stronger attacks for well-timed inputs. The Guard skill is also getting a much-needed upgrade, with higher skill levels now providing noticeable damage reduction when blocking. Further details on these and other adjustments will be included in the full patch notes on March 6th.
More New Additions:
Season 5 addresses a common player frustration: overflowing inventories! An Item Box Expansion will be available as a Supply Item, providing an extra 250 inventory slots.
A brand-new feature arrives on March 17th, celebrating Monster Hunter Now's 1.5-year anniversary. This feature allows trading special materials earned from hunts and events for valuable rewards, including Item Box Expansions, Weapon Refining Parts, Armor Refining Parts, and Wyvern Gem Shards.
