Fortnite's Surprise Paradigm Skin Return: Players Get to Keep It!
A surprising event unfolded in the world of Fortnite on August 6th. The highly sought-after Paradigm skin, a Chapter 1 Season X exclusive unavailable for five years, unexpectedly reappeared in the in-game item shop.
Initially, Epic Games attributed the skin's return to a technical glitch, promising to remove it from players' inventories and provide refunds. However, a significant player outcry prompted a swift change of heart.
Within two hours, Fortnite reversed course, announcing via Twitter that players who purchased the Paradigm skin during its accidental return could keep it. The developers acknowledged the error, stating, "Bought Paradigm tonight? You can keep her. Her accidental return to the Shop is on us... so if you purchased The Paradigm during this evening's rotation, you can keep this Outfit and we'll refund your V-Bucks soon-ish."
To preserve the original exclusivity for those who initially obtained the skin, Fortnite committed to creating a unique, new variant exclusively for them.
