Sony's PlayStation State of Play is set for tomorrow, February 12th, at 2 PM Pacific / 5 PM Eastern / 10 PM UK. This 40+ minute broadcast, available in English and Japanese on PlayStation's YouTube and Twitch channels, promises a diverse lineup of games from global studios.
While specifics remain under wraps, anticipation is high for updates on several major titles. The PlayStation Blog hints at "a creative and unique selection of exciting games," fueling speculation about extended gameplay showcases for titles like Sucker Punch's Ghost of Tsushima, and a potential release date announcement for Hideo Kojima's Death Stranding 2: On the Beach. Given last week's PlayStation Store leak, an official Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater release date trailer is also a strong possibility.
While announcements regarding Insomniac's Wolverine and Naughty Dog's Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet might be premature, other promising titles are likely to feature. This includes Phantom: Blade Zero, an action RPG from S-Game, and highly anticipated multiplayer shooters Marathon (Bungie) and Fairgames (Haven), both gaining significant attention following Sony's involvement in the Concord situation.
With March marking the 10th anniversary of Bloodborne, a special announcement isn't entirely out of the question. Furthermore, persistent rumors suggest potential surprises, including the possibility of a Halo title arriving on PlayStation consoles.
