Get ready, Pokémon trainers! A Pokémon Presents event is scheduled for next week, coinciding with Pokémon Day.
The Pokémon Company announced on X/Twitter that the event will air on February 27th, 2025, at 6 AM Pacific Time (9 AM Eastern Time/2 PM UK time) on the official Pokémon YouTube channel.
While specifics remain under wraps, fans eagerly anticipate news regarding the next core Pokémon game, which is currently unannounced. While the spin-off Pokémon Legends: Z-A is slated for a 2025 release, details on the next main series generation remain elusive.
The presentation will likely feature updates on existing titles including Pokémon Unite, Pokémon Sleep, Pokémon GO, and Pokémon Masters EX. Announcements concerning the recently launched Pokémon TCG Pocket and the physical trading card game are also anticipated.
Last year's Pokémon Presents, held around the same time, unveiled Pokémon Legends: Z-A, upcoming Tera Raid Battles in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, and the mobile adaptation of the Pokémon Trading Card Game, among other announcements. Unlike previous years with multiple events, 2024 only saw one Pokémon Presents, marking the first year since 2015 without a new mainline Pokémon game release.
