World of Warcraft Patch 11.1, "Undermined," expands beyond its namesake zone, introducing several new subzones. Key additions include Gutterville and Kaja'Coast, significantly enriching the gameplay experience.
New Subzones in WoW Patch 11.1:
-
Undermine: The central focus, a sprawling subterranean Goblin city brimming with unique architecture and inventions. Features Slam Central Station, a key hub with at least five access points.
-
Gutterville: Situated in the southeastern Ringing Deeps, this subzone likely serves as an entrance to Undermine. Its maroon coloration suggests a corrupted area, potentially housing Excavation Site 9, one of the new Delves.
-
Kaja'Coast: A new Goblin encampment in Zuldazar, near Bilgewater Bonanza. Its proximity to the tram system showcased in the initial announcement hints at another access point to Undermine.
The discovery of these subzones, unearthed by Wowhead in game files, hints at a more extensive update than initially anticipated. The five potential access points to Undermine from Slam Central Station suggest further Goblin-themed areas may be revealed.
While a firm release date is pending (currently estimated for mid-to-late February), the Public Test Realm (PTR) launch is anticipated for early January, allowing players early access to explore these exciting new locations.
