While *Avowed*'s Living Lands feel vast, the main quest surprisingly concludes rather quickly. If you're craving more after the credits roll, here's what awaits:
Does *Avowed* Have New Game Plus?
Many RPG fans relish replaying the main quest on higher difficulties with acquired skills and gear. Unfortunately, Avowed doesn't currently offer New Game Plus at launch. However, Obsidian may add this feature via a future update or DLC, given player demand.
Even without New Game Plus, replayability exists. Avowed's choices significantly impact the story and gameplay, making a fresh save worthwhile to explore different endings and character builds.
Does *Avowed* Have Endgame Content?

Avowed features four main regions, a secret final area, and a return to a major city (details withheld to avoid spoilers). These areas offer challenging encounters, especially with Legendary-quality gear. However, this challenge doesn't extend to previously explored regions, and no new areas unlock post-game. This means you can't revisit the Living Lands to see how your choices have shaped them.
What You Can Do After Beating *Avowed*
Avowed's post-game is relatively limited due to the absence of New Game Plus and endgame content. Upon completion, you'll watch several minutes of cutscenes detailing the consequences of your decisions. Afterwards, you'll return to the main menu.
From there, you can start a new game or reload a previous save. Autosaves from before the final encounter and the point of no return should be available. This allows revisiting those sections, making different choices, and experiencing alternate story outcomes.
Reloading to before the point of no return also lets you explore previous regions. Clean up the map, earn achievements, complete missed side quests, and collect any overlooked items. Enemies in earlier areas won't scale to your level, making this a potentially fun experience with your upgraded gear.
That's the post-game experience in Avowed.
Avowed is available now on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox Game Pass.
