Pokémon Go Tour: Unova’s global leg will see the debuts of Black Kyurem and White Kyurem with new Adventure Effects

The Pokémon Go Tour: Unova – Global event brings the legendary Black Kyurem and White Kyurem, each boasting unique Adventure Effects to simplify Pokémon catching. Black Kyurem's Freeze Shock temporarily immobilizes wild Pokémon, making captures significantly easier. White Kyurem's Ice Burn slows the target ring, improving your accuracy for Excellent Throws. Both effects are extendable in 10-minute increments, up to a maximum of 24 hours.

These effects are activated by battling and capturing the respective Kyurem in five-star raids to collect Fusion Energy. Fusing Zekrom or Reshiram with a Kyurem knowing Glaciate will replace it with Freeze Shock or Ice Burn. Remember, this move change is temporary; separating the Pokémon reverts the move back to Glaciate. Currently, these moves cannot be learned via Charged TMs or Elite Charged TMs.

Choose between two event badges: Black Version (Reshiram) or White Version (Zekrom). Your choice determines the Special Research rewards and whether Kyurem encountered after defeating the respective legendary Pokémon will know Glaciate.

Maximize your event experience with the Tour Pass! It unlocks rewards and boosts Adventure Effects. Earn Tour Points by catching Pokémon, completing raids, and hatching Eggs, or accelerate progress with quick Pass Tasks. Major Milestones increase Catch XP and extend the duration of Freeze Shock or Ice Burn. For ultimate benefits, upgrade to the Tour Pass Deluxe, granting an immediate Victini encounter, more event encounters, an avatar item, and the Lucky Trinket. The Lucky Trinket allows a one-time Lucky Friend boost for improved trading.
