Dive into the exciting world of Scarlet Girls, an innovative Idle RPG featuring a squad of technologically enhanced mecha waifus known as "Stellaris." Set in the 119th year of the Old Euro Calendar, the game presents a dystopian Earth where mutated animals and powerful beings have pushed humanity to the brink of extinction. As a player, you are tasked with recruiting and training these mecha girls to combat the menacing catastromechs and restore peace. This beginner's guide will illuminate the core game mechanics and game modes designed to enhance your account's power and progression. Let's dive in!
Understanding the Combat Mechanics of Scarlet Girls
The gameplay of Scarlet Girls is rooted in an Idle system, perfect for players seeking a more relaxed gaming experience. The combat unfolds in a turn-based sequence determined by the Speed stat of your characters and enemies. Each battle round concludes once all participants have taken their turn. You can deploy up to five characters into battle, and the game offers a convenient feature called Quick Dispatch, which automatically arranges your team based on the strongest characters available. Once your team is set, sit back and enjoy the stunning animations that accompany each Stellaris's unique abilities.
In Scarlet Girls, your Stellaris possess both active and passive abilities that they deploy automatically during combat. These abilities are governed by cooldown timers, meaning after use, they're unavailable for a set number of turns. Crafting a synergistic squad of mecha girls is key to overcoming your foes. Although the combat unfolds in real-time, your influence is exerted through the strategic selection and arrangement of your characters before the battle begins.
Each Stellaris is categorized into one of four classes, which defines their role and utility in battle:
- Paladins – Boast the highest armor stats, serving as frontline tanks to absorb enemy attacks and protect their teammates.
- Support – Equipped with healing and supportive abilities, these Stellaris offer crucial utility from the backline.
- Devastator – Experts in heavy firepower, designed to unleash devastating energy damage on enemies.
- Assaulter – Masters of bladed weapons, focusing on dealing physical damage to dismantle and defeat their targets.
Echo – The Gacha System of Scarlet Girls
Recruiting Stellaris involves the game's gacha system, known as Echo. Stellaris come in various rarities: R, SR, SSR, and SSR+. The rarity level directly impacts their strength, with higher rarities boasting superior base stats in Attack, Defense, and HP, as well as access to more potent abilities that can significantly influence battle outcomes.
At global launch, the "Normal Echo" banner is the sole summoning option, offering R to SSR Stellaris. Players can use Echo tickets or Diamonds to summon, with a guaranteed SSR character within 40 summons. Each summon also awards 20 Echo points, and accumulating 2000 points allows you to summon a random SSR character from one of four elemental banners (excluding Nebula). You can monitor your Echo point progress on the right side of the Echo system. The recruitment probabilities are as follows:
- R Stellaris – 19.979% chance per individual R character
- SR Stellaris – 2.667% chance per individual SR character
- SSR Stellaris – 0.133% chance per individual SSR character
- SSR+ Stellaris – 0.010% chance per individual SSR+ character
