The new *Call of Duty* Zombies map, The Tomb, introduces a returning Wonder Weapon: the Staff of Ice, originally from *Black Ops II*'s Origins. This guide details how to obtain it.
Can You Get the Staff of Ice from the Mystery Box on The Tomb?
While the Staff of Ice, like its Black Ops II counterpart, requires three parts to craft, you can get lucky and find it in The Tomb's Mystery Box. However, this relies entirely on chance, even with the "Wunderbar!" GobbleGum, as the Ray Gun is also a possibility. To guarantee acquisition, follow the crafting steps below.
How To Build the Staff of Ice on The Tomb in Black Ops 6 Zombies
Obtaining the Staff of Ice Monocle

The first component, the Monocle, drops from the first Shock Mimic you eliminate in a match. Simply interact with it to add it to your inventory.
Obtaining the Staff of Ice Head Piece

The Head Piece and Staff pieces require similar puzzle solutions and a subsequent lockdown survival. These can be obtained in any order.
To acquire the Head Piece, locate the cave painting in the Neolithic Catacombs. If the wall isn't illuminated, use the Dark Aether lanterns—shoot one; after a short delay (often the start of the next round), the fire will move to another. Repeat until the lantern nearest the painting is lit, revealing Roman numerals.
Shoot the numerals in ascending order (I-X). Incorrect shots allow you to resume from the last correct one. Use a bullet weapon; splash or explosive damage can disrupt the sequence. A completed sequence illuminates the constellation, triggering a lockdown. Survive the lockdown to claim the Head Piece. If lanterns aren't spawning, visit the Dark Aether Nexus and return; if still absent, progress a few rounds.
Obtaining the Staff of Ice Staff Piece

The Staff piece is obtained similarly. In the Tombs room, manipulate the lanterns until the fire is closest to the Bull Mural (head facing left). Illuminated Roman numerals will appear; shoot them in ascending order (I-VIII). Survive the ensuing lockdown to obtain the Staff piece.
Completing the Staff of Ice
With all three parts, go to the Dark Aether Nexus (accessing the Door to Nowhere if needed). Place the parts on the central structure. A horde of enemies will attack; defend the Staff until it's assembled. Using perks, upgraded weapons, and GobbleGums like Kill Joy and Free Fire is recommended.
Congratulations! You've crafted the Staff of Ice.
