Genshin Impact players on Android rejoice! Controller support is finally arriving with Version 5.5, launching March 26th, 2025. This long-awaited feature, already available on iOS since 2021, will allow Android users to explore Teyvat using a controller instead of the touchscreen. Supported controllers include the DualShock 4, DualSense, Xbox Wireless Controller, and Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 (all Bluetooth-enabled).
Version 5.5 isn't just about controllers; it also brings several quality-of-life improvements. Cross-scene quest tracking will streamline your adventures, letting you seamlessly track and teleport to quest locations directly from the map. Boss guides are getting an overhaul to better assist new players in understanding enemy mechanics. Further optimizations are planned for the Artifact system, Serenitea Pot, and Mail system, with full details unveiled during the Special Program Announcement on March 14th.
