Botany Manor's PlayStation Debut Set for January 28th
Highly acclaimed puzzle game Botany Manor finally has a PlayStation release date: January 28th, 2025. Initially slated for December 17th, 2024, the PS4 and PS5 versions were delayed to allow for further refinement.
Originally launched in April 2024 on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, Botany Manor quickly gained recognition as a top-tier puzzle game. The PlayStation port, announced by publisher Whitethorn Games, faced a delay shortly before its intended December launch. The publisher cited a commitment to delivering the best possible player experience as the reason for the postponement.
The January 9th, 2025 announcement of the new release date fulfills Whitethorn's promise. While the game's release date is now confirmed, a PS Store page is still pending, meaning pre-ordering isn't yet possible.
The PlayStation version is expected to be priced at $24.99, consistent with other platforms. It will be a one-time purchase without microtransactions. Unlike the Steam version, a separate digital soundtrack is unlikely to be offered on the PlayStation Store.
Expanding PlayStation's Puzzle Game Selection
Botany Manor's critical success, boasting a "Strong" rating on OpenCritic (83/100 average score and 92% recommendation rate), highlights its charming atmosphere, ingenious puzzles, and engaging exploration. Its arrival on PlayStation promises to enrich the platform's growing collection of high-quality puzzle games.
With its release on January 28th, Botany Manor will be available on all initially planned platforms. Developer Balloon Studios hasn't yet announced their next project. Joining Botany Manor on the PS Store that day will be Cuisineer, Eternal Strands, and The Son of Madness.
