FortiToken Mobile is a mobile application that generates one-time passwords (OTPs) for robust multi-factor authentication (MFA). This OATH-compliant app uses both event-based and time-based OTPs, providing a highly secure, user-friendly, and cost-effective MFA solution. It requires a FortiOS, FortiAuthenticator, or FortiToken Cloud server for OTP validation.

Protecting Your Privacy:

Rest assured, FortiToken Mobile respects your privacy. It cannot access or modify sensitive phone settings, capture media (photos, videos, audio), read or send emails, or view your browsing history. It requires explicit permission for notifications and any setting changes, and it cannot remotely wipe your device. Any access to your device is solely for verifying the OS version for compatibility purposes. Sensitive data like email addresses or token seeds are only accessed during manual token installation, third-party token integration, or token transfers.

While FortiToken Mobile operates without altering your device settings without your consent, the following permissions are essential for its functionality:

• Camera Access: For convenient QR code scanning during token activation.
• TouchID/FaceID: For enhanced application security.
• Internet Access: To activate tokens and receive push notifications.
• Email Access (Send Feedback): To automatically populate the sender field when sending feedback.
• Inter-App File Sharing: To attach files when sending feedback via email.
• Prevent Sleep Mode: To ensure database integrity during internal updates.
