Application Description

A streamlined DAB+ radio app for USB receivers (not SDRs), perfect for in-car head units. Enjoy a simple, intuitive interface with a convenient slideshow feature. No station logos are displayed, and no internet connection is needed.

Important: This app requires a compatible USB DAB+ receiver with one of the device IDs listed below. It will not function without a supported receiver.

New in Version 1.1.6 (Oct 12, 2024):

Android 14 compatibility.
Improved USB device detection while the app is running.
Resolved issue where the app sometimes failed to close when the back button was pressed.

Features:

Save and Share Info: Save the currently displayed information text to a file, then easily share or export it.
Customizable Text Color: Long-press the info text area to change its color.
Steering Wheel Control (Experimental): Support for steering wheel buttons:
- Skip Next: Next station.
- Skip Previous: Previous station.
- Play: Cycle through station filters ("All," "Selected Program Type," "Favorites").

This app isn't a replacement for the excellent "DAB-Z" app. It's designed for users who prefer a large-button, easy-to-use interface optimized for less-than-perfect car touchscreens.

The interface is optimized for 1024x600 landscape mode car screens. If you experience display issues on other resolutions, please report them on the XDA Developers website (link provided).

This app is based on the HRadio example code by IRT GmbH (Fabian Sattler), licensed under the Apache License 2.0.
