FreeStyle Libre 2 - RU

Flash Glucose Monitoring

The FreeStyle LibreLink app is approved for use with FreeStyle Libre and FreeStyle Libre 2 system sensors. You can check your glucose levels by scanning the sensor with your smartphone. When using FreeStyle Libre 2 sensors, the system can also send you alerts for low or high glucose levels.[12]

With the FreeStyle LibreLink app, you can:

view your current glucose reading, trends, and historical glucose data;

receive low or high glucose alerts when using FreeStyle Libre 2 system sensors;[2]

access reports such as Time in Range and Daily Glucose Profiles;

and share your data with your doctor and family members.[3]

USING THE APP AND SENSOR SCANNER

Alerts can be sent to either the FreeStyle Libre 2 scanner or your smartphone, but not both simultaneously. To get alerts on your phone, you must start the sensor using the app. To get alerts on the FreeStyle Libre 2 scanner, you must start the sensor using that scanner. If you start a sensor with the scanner, you can still scan it with your phone.

Note that the app and scanner do not communicate with each other. To get complete data on a device, you must scan the sensor with that device at least every 8 hours; otherwise, reports will show incomplete data. You can download and view data from all your compatible devices on LibreView.com.
