Here’s What the Gameplay Is Like

Once Human is an immersive multiplayer open-world survival game. The narrative kicks off in a world thrown into chaos by an alien substance known as Stardust, which has contaminated the air, water, animals, and humans. While most didn't make it, you, as a Meta-Human, have survived. The game plunges you into the vast, chaotic landscape of Nalcott (Nekot), spanning 256 square kilometers.

From frozen tundras and erupting volcanoes to treacherous swamps and deceptive desert oases, the terrain is as varied as it is dangerous. Survive by farming, hunting, or engaging in full-on warfare. Your enemies include zombies—corrupted humans—and bizarre dimensional bosses altered by Stardust. Be cautious, as Stardust can also taint your food and water sources. Consuming contaminated water can reduce your max HP and affect your sanity.

The crafting system in Once Human is robust, allowing you to gather around 100 gun blueprints across seven distinct categories. Enhance your weaponry with various accessories, perks, and upgrades to suit your playstyle.

Territory building is a central feature of the game. With your Territory Core, you can establish a base anywhere you desire. Whether you opt for a basic survival room or an expansive apocalypse mansion complete with a kitchen, patio, and garage, the choice is yours. And if you're not satisfied with your surroundings, you can relocate your entire base to a new location.
