Following the announcement of the online version's closure, Nintendo has revealed the release date for the anticipated offline successor: Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete. Launching on December 3rd for Android, this standalone version offers a reimagined camping experience.
What's Included?
The free-to-play Pocket Camp will shut down on November 29th. Pocket Camp Complete is a one-time purchase, priced at $9.99 until January 31st, 2025, increasing to $19.99 thereafter. This comprehensive package includes all seasonal items, events, and content accumulated since the original game's 2017 launch. Players can still design their dream campsite with over 10,000 items.
New Features:
Pocket Camp Complete introduces exciting new features, including customizable Camper Cards – personalized trading cards showcasing your unique style. Choose your pose and color, and exchange cards with friends! A new social hub, Whistle Pass, provides a gathering place for Camper Card connections, complete with musical entertainment. Plus, transferring your existing Pocket Camp save data is possible until June 2nd, 2025.
While offline, the game will require occasional internet access for time synchronization and account verification. All beloved seasonal events, from Halloween to summer festivals, remain intact.
