Ubisoft Delays Rainbow Six Mobile and The Division Resurgence
Ubisoft has announced further delays for the mobile releases of Rainbow Six Mobile and Tom Clancy's The Division Resurgence. Initially slated for a 2024-2025 launch, both games will now arrive after Ubisoft's fiscal year 25 (FY25), meaning sometime in 2025.
The company cites market saturation in the tactical shooter genre as the primary reason for the postponement. This strategic move aims to avoid direct competition with other significant releases and ensure a stronger market entry for both titles. The delay isn't attributed to development issues; rather, Ubisoft seeks to optimize launch performance in a highly competitive landscape.
This decision will undoubtedly disappoint fans eagerly awaiting the mobile versions of these popular franchises. However, pre-registration remains open for both games. The earliest possible release window for both titles is now after April 2025.
