In 2022, Innersloth transformed the *Among Us* experience by introducing a virtual reality version that received widespread acclaim. Now, the studio is set to revolutionize the game once more with *Among Us 3D*, a fully immersive first-person perspective that doesn't require a VR headset.
This new iteration retains the beloved core mechanics but adapts them for traditional gaming setups. A teaser trailer provides a sneak peek, illustrating how tasks, meetings, and sabotage will look and feel from the character's viewpoint. Enthusiasts can get hands-on experience during Steam's upcoming "Game On" festival, where a free demo will be accessible for testing.
Although an official release date remains under wraps, *Among Us 3D* is slated to launch first on PC. The game will be tailored for keyboard and mouse controls, featuring an updated interface to improve accessibility. Additionally, cross-play capabilities will enable *Among Us 3D* players to connect with those on *Among Us VR*, while the original *Among Us* will continue to operate independently.
To enhance the player experience further, Innersloth is set to introduce a new in-game currency called Stardust in the coming months. This addition will broaden customization options, allowing players to personalize their avatars and contribute to the game's continuous development.
