The cult-classic mobile game, 868-Hack, is poised for a comeback! A new crowdfunding campaign has launched for its sequel, 868-Back, promising a renewed experience of hacking cyberpunk mainframes in a roguelike digital dungeon crawler.
Cyber warfare often falls short of its exciting potential. While we dream of being like Angelina Jolie in "Hackers," reality is usually less glamorous. But 868-Hack, and its upcoming sequel, offer a unique opportunity to live that dream. This game masterfully captures the essence of hacking, making the complex world of programming and information warfare both accessible and challenging, much like the PC puzzler Uplink. The original 868-Hack successfully delivered on this premise, and 868-Back promises even more.
868-Back builds upon the original's success by allowing players to chain together Progs to create intricate action sequences, similar to real-world programming. This sequel introduces an expanded world to explore, along with revamped and redesigned Progs, enhanced graphics, and improved sound.
