Early Access Guide to Playing Atomfall

Author : Connor Update:May 20,2025

Rebellion's latest survival adventure game, *Atomfall*, is shaping up to be one of the most eagerly awaited releases of 2025. If you're eager to dive into this thrilling new world before everyone else, here's how you can get early access.

Does Atomfall Have an Early Access Period? Answered

In recent years, it's become increasingly common for new game releases to offer an Early Access period, typically lasting a few days. *Atomfall* is no exception, allowing players to jump in up to three days before the official launch. The standard edition of *Atomfall* is set to release on Thursday, March 27th, but those who pre-order the Digital Deluxe or the PC-exclusive Quarantine Edition can start playing as early as Monday, March 24th.

While *Atomfall* will be available on Xbox Game Pass from day one, unfortunately, there's no early access option for Game Pass subscribers. Historically, Microsoft has enabled Game Pass members to access the standard edition of a game through the service, while offering the chance to upgrade to a Digital Deluxe Edition for early access. This was the case with titles like *Starfield*, *Indiana Jones and the Great Circle*, and *Avowed*. However, no such upgrade option appears to be available for *Atomfall*.

What Time Does Atomfall Come Out? Answered

Although no official release time has been widely announced for *Atomfall*, fans can anticipate it going live on Monday morning in the United States. The Microsoft Store currently lists the release time as 10am Eastern Time on March 24th. Changing your region and language settings doesn't seem to alter this time, suggesting that the popular New Zealand trick won't work for *Atomfall*. Keep in mind, these details could change, and this article will be updated once Rebellion provides more concrete information about the game's launch timing.

*Atomfall* will be released on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox Game Pass on March 27th.
