Mastering Friend Connections and Gameplay in Marvel Rivals
Marvel Rivals, the thrilling 6v6 hero shooter, offers smooth matchmaking, but the real fun lies in teaming up with friends. This guide explains how to add friends and play together in Marvel Rivals.
Important Note: Currently, Marvel Rivals lacks cross-progression and cross-play. You can only add friends on the same platform. However, the developers have confirmed that this feature is in the works.
Adding Friends:
Locate the friend request icon, usually situated in the upper corner near your player profile. Clicking it reveals a list of recent players; simply select a player to add them to your friends list.
Alternatively, use the search bar to find a player by username. Once you've found them, send a friend request. They must accept before appearing on your list.
Playing with Friends:
With your friends list populated, it's time to play!
- Click the friends list icon (top right corner).
- Select the desired friend from your list.
- Invite them to your game.
- Choose Quick Play or Competitive mode, and start playing!
Console players will find an added convenience: friends added on the console's system level will automatically appear in your Marvel Rivals friends list, simplifying the invitation process.
