Oh My Anne: New Rilla's Storybook Update and User-Polled Content Added

Author : Savannah Update:May 05,2025

The beloved classic, Anne of Green Gables, transcends the label of mere literature, inspiring a diverse array of adaptations from films and miniseries to Neowiz's innovative mobile game, Oh My Anne. This game, a delightful blend of decorating and puzzle-solving, is set to receive an exciting update that further enriches its narrative landscape.

Neowiz is enhancing their popular match-three puzzler with a suite of new content. Among the additions is Rilla's Storybook, which introduces fresh narrative content narrated by Anne to her daughter Rilla later in life. This update allows players to dive deeper into the world of Anne through engaging stories that can be unlocked by earning in-game currency through puzzle gameplay. Each tale is preserved in a storybook format, available for revisiting at any time, though players must act quickly as this content will only be available until Wednesday, April 16th.

In addition to Rilla's Storybook, a new storyline titled The Secret of the Mansion is being introduced. This storyline was chosen through a community poll, marking the beginning of future community-driven content according to Neowiz. This approach not only keeps the game fresh but also engages the player base in shaping the game's direction.

It's fascinating to see how a novel over a century old continues to inspire modern content. While the overlap between fans of classic literature and match-three puzzle enthusiasts might not be immediately obvious, Neowiz's success with Oh My Anne demonstrates a compelling crossover appeal.
