Arknights: Endfield January Beta Test: Expanded Gameplay and New Features

Get ready for an enhanced Arknights: Endfield experience! A new beta test is launching this January, building upon the previous iteration with significant gameplay expansions and improvements. This beta promises a richer, more engaging experience.

Expanded Gameplay and Character Roster

As reported by Niche Gamer on December 25th, 2024, the mid-January beta test will feature a boosted roster of 15 playable characters, including two Endministrators. Expect updated models, animations, and special effects. Players can select from Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and English voiceovers and text.

Registration opened December 14th, 2024. The beta will incorporate player feedback, showcasing refined combat mechanics, including new combo skills and a dodge system. Item usage and character progression have also been adjusted.

Base Building and Story Enhancements

The base building system receives a significant overhaul, introducing new mechanics and tutorial levels. Expect new defensive structures and the ability to construct and expand factories via outposts in various locations. A reworked storyline, new maps, and engaging puzzles further enrich the gameplay.

While registration is currently open, the application deadline and beta test start date are yet to be announced. Selected participants will receive an email notification from GRYPHLINE, including installation instructions.

Arknights: Endfield Content Creator Program Vol. 1

Launched concurrently with the beta test announcement on December 14th, 2024, is the Arknights: Endfield Content Creator Program Vol. 1. Selected creators gain access to the official community, exclusive perks, and special events.

The program accepts applications across two categories: gameplay insights (reviews, lore discussions, streams, etc.) and fan creations (memes, fanart, cosplays, etc.). Requirements include original content, proof of ownership of the account used for application, and links to previous work.

While meeting the requirements increases your chances, selection isn't guaranteed. The application period ran from December 15th to December 29th, 2024.
