Atuel: A Documentary Experience
Atuel explores the stunning yet climate-change-affected Atuel River Valley in Argentina. Players embark on a transformative journey, shapeshifting into various animals and elements within the ecosystem, becoming intrinsically linked to the landscape. Experience the thrill of soaring through the skies, then the tranquility of flowing as the river itself.
The game seamlessly integrates real-life interviews with historians, biologists, geologists, and local residents, providing a rich tapestry of perspectives on the region's history, current state, and future under the shadow of climate change. Matajuegos collaborated with The 12.01 Project, an international documentary team, to bring these compelling narratives to life.
Atuel's visuals are truly captivating, drawing inspiration from the Cuyo desert to create an almost otherworldly atmosphere.
While Android pre-registration is pending, you can visit the Steam page or official website for further details. The mobile version will feature seven new languages and full controller support.
