Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra is now available from Bandai Namco on a wide range of platforms, including Android, iOS, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Steam. This marks the series' first fully free-to-play experience centered exclusively on team-based combat.
What are the features in Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra?
It is a real-time, 4v4 strategy game. Launching with a roster of 22 characters, it introduces 5 new fighters to the previously announced 17, ensuring massive variety with each character offering a unique set of capabilities.
Perfect Form Cell excels by absorbing enemy Bioenergy, striking from behind to weaken his foes. Android 17 specializes in defense, protecting allies with barriers and maintaining relentless pressure thanks to his unlimited stamina.
The assassin Hit employs precise strikes and his Fear of Death skill to close distances unseen and deliver swift, decisive blows. Super Saiyan Kale, in her berserker state, overwhelms opponents with pure, chaotic fury.
Meanwhile, Gamma 1 and Gamma 2 operate as a tag team. They can fluidly switch between handling widespread melees and focused duels, augmented by a Special Pose. You can explore detailed profiles for all fighters on the official website.
Every character fits one of three distinct roles: Attackers focus on relentless offensive pressure. Protectors absorb damage and hold critical positions. Lastly, Technical fighters provide versatile support through buffs and disruptive abilities.
You can mix and match these roles to create squads that balance offense, defense, and tactical depth. A mid-battle progression system allows fighters to grow stronger during a match, unlocking new skills as the fight unfolds.
