NCSoft has announced the end-of-service (EOS) for its multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game, Battle Crush. This is surprising, given the game never reached its full release. Following a global test in August 2023 and an early access launch in June 2024, the game is shutting down just months later.
Battle Crush's EOS Date
The game servers will be permanently closed on November 29th, 2024. In-game purchases have already been suspended. However, players who made purchases between June 27th, 2024, and October 23rd, 2024, are eligible for a refund.
Refunds for Android and Steam players will be processed from December 2nd, 2024, to January 2025. Players should download any desired content before November 28th, 2024, as the game will become inaccessible afterward. The official website will remain online until May 30th, 2025, for support purposes. Social media and Discord channels will close on January 31st, 2025.
Unexpected Closure?
The sudden closure is undoubtedly disappointing for players who invested time and effort into Battle Crush. While enjoyable, the game's somewhat clunky controls and pacing issues likely contributed to its premature end. It simply didn't quite achieve the level of polish needed for long-term success.
You can still download Battle Crush from the Google Play Store before its complete shutdown. For more gaming news, check out our upcoming article on Black Desert Mobile's autumn season and its story-driven quests.
