Beast of Reincarnation comes from GAMEFREAK, the developer and co-owner behind the Pokémon franchise. This hack-and-slash action RPG explores deeper, more mature themes compared to the studio's iconic Pokémon series. The game is set in a futuristic world where advanced technology clashes with traditional Japanese samurai combat, featuring intense mechanical boss encounters and demanding battles.

In a surprising move, GAMEFREAK is developing a game that is not exclusive to its long-time partner Nintendo. As of now, the title is not scheduled for release on any Nintendo platforms. While the studio has previously released games on other systems, such as Pandoland in 2024 and Little Town Hero in 2019, Beast of Reincarnation promises a significantly higher level of gameplay depth and production quality than their past external projects.
