The Sims 4's Blast from the Past event offers exciting rewards, but earning them requires tackling several challenges. One particularly tricky task involves breaking and repairing an object. This guide provides a straightforward solution.
Week 2's challenge requires raising your Handiness skill to level 2 or higher, a relatively simple task. The difficulty arises in the second part: repairing a broken object. The game doesn't highlight broken items, so you'll need to create one yourself. While you could use the "prank" interaction, this requires a specific Sim trait, adding unnecessary complexity. A simpler method is to repeatedly use an item until it breaks.
The Ambassador toilet is an inexpensive option. Repeated use (around a dozen times) will cause it to malfunction, becoming your designated "broken object."
Once your Handiness skill reaches level 2, simply select the "Repair" option on the broken toilet. Repairing it will resolve the Blast from the Past challenge.
