Following her visit, a trio of businessmen named Jerry, Larry, and Terry, all dressed in suits and carrying briefcases, arrive at the shop. They are en route to a boardroom presentation but find themselves at Alta's tea shop instead. When offered tea, they decline, insisting on coffee, which the shop does not serve. Instead of leaving, they decide to wait until coffee becomes available.

Boro, the tea shop's owner, explains that coffee has never grown in this forest, initially leaving Alta frustrated about meeting the businessmen's demands. However, the arrival of Zenith, an interdimensional figure intrigued by the businessmen, changes the course of events. While Zenith enjoys the tea Alta offers, their curiosity about the difference between tea and coffee sets the stage for coffee's introduction to the forest.

To unlock coffee beans, you must serve Zenith a cup of tea infused with something valuable, such as a book, trinket, pot, mug, small plant, or photograph. After tasting the tea, Zenith will inquire about the distinction between coffee and tea and the process of brewing coffee. Upon learning about coffee beans from Alta, Zenith uses their powers to summon coffee beans into the forest, where they begin to grow in the clearing. How to Harvest and Brew Coffee in Wanderstop

Once summoned by Zenith, coffee beans grow wild in the clearing and respawn randomly. You can harvest them similarly to fruits and seeds or other objects. They can be stored in your ingredients pocket, carried one at a time, or placed on shelves, tables, floors, or the ground.

Before brewing, the beans must be cleaned of dirt. Place them in the dishwasher and wait for them to be cleaned and returned by the dish trains in the tea room.
