Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 2 introduces significant quality-of-life improvements for Zombies mode. Key updates include a much-requested co-op pause feature, allowing players in the same party to pause high-round matches. This addresses a long-standing player request.

Furthermore, the new "AFK Kick Loadout Recovery" system lets players rejoin Zombies matches after an AFK kick, preserving their loadouts and minimizing frustration from lost progress. This is crucial for maintaining momentum during intense gameplay.

For enhanced customization, separate HUD presets for Zombies and Multiplayer modes are implemented, eliminating the need to constantly readjust settings between game modes. Finally, players can now track up to 10 Calling Card and Camo Challenges per mode, streamlining progression through the game's extensive challenge system. These improvements, alongside new maps and content, are set to launch on January 28, 2025.
