Carrion the Reverse Horror Game That Lets You Hunt, Consume and Evolve Drops on Mobile Soon!

Devolver Digital's Android game library boasts impressive titles like GRIS, Reigns: Her Majesty, and Downwell. Soon, another standout will join the ranks: Carrion, the acclaimed "reverse-horror" game, is coming to mobile devices.

Initially released for PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One in July 2020, Carrion offers a unique take on the horror genre. Developed by Phobia Game Studio and published by Devolver Digital, the mobile version launches October 31st.

Carrion Mobile: A Horror Game… From the Horror's Perspective

In Carrion, you embody a creature straight from a nightmare – you are the horror. Control a mysterious red blob, using tentacles to slither, claw, and devour anything in its path. This "reverse horror" experience flips the script: instead of surviving terror, you are the terror.

The game casts you as The Monster, imprisoned within Relith Science's high-security research lab. Scientists have experimented on your DNA, attempting to control you. But you've escaped, evolved, and are seeking revenge. Escape the facility by any means necessary, consuming scientists, security guards, and anyone who dares stand in your way. Navigate vents, smash through doors, and unleash your tentacles to hunt. Carrion's mobile version mirrors the PC experience, letting you spread chaos and destruction.

Progress through the game unlocks upgrades, enhancing your ability to breach barriers and grow in size. See the game in action:

Pre-Register Now!

Fans of Metroidvania-style games will appreciate Carrion's blend of exploration and progression. The pixel art style gives the gore a surprisingly charming aesthetic.

Carrion on mobile offers a free trial. Unlock the full game and DLC via a single in-app purchase. Pre-register on the Google Play Store or download it directly on October 31st.
