CD Projekt Red Seeks Talent for Mysterious Project Hadar

Marcin Blacha, the VP and Narrative Lead at CD Projekt Red, has highlighted that Project Hadar requires an "exceptional team." Talented developers are invited to explore the available positions and play a key role in shaping this new game.

Project Hadar stands out as it introduces a completely new universe by CD Projekt, distinct from The Witcher series, which is based on Andrzej Sapkowski’s novels, and Cyberpunk 2077, which stems from a tabletop RPG. While details are limited (with assurances that it won't be a space horror), the project has recently expanded from a core group of about twenty developers.

CDPR officeImage: x.comCurrently, the Hadar team is actively recruiting for several key roles including programmers, VFX experts, technical artists, writers, and mission designers. The excitement surrounding this project, described by top developers as a "once-in-a-lifetime chance," suggests that Project Hadar is moving from initial concepts into full-scale development.

CD Projekt Red is simultaneously managing multiple projects. The largest team is focused on Project Polaris, the inaugural game of a new Witcher trilogy centered around Ciri. Additionally, two other teams are working on a sequel to Cyberpunk 2077 and another title set within The Witcher universe.
