However, upon reaching Chapter 3, the game prompts you to make a crucial decision by the chapter's end. By this point, you should have a good understanding of each faction's dynamics, but if you're still undecided, the game offers additional battles to help you make an informed choice.

To advance, you must complete a set number of missions for each faction: three for Sun Jian, two for Liu Bei, and one for Cao Cao. Once you fulfill these requirements, a new mission becomes available, forcing you to choose a side.
