After years of anticipation, Civilization VII has finally arrived! This article explains how to acquire Napoleon, a legendary commander available in two versions. We won't dwell on the game's mixed Steam reviews (just over 40% positive).

Unlocking Napoleon:
Getting Napoleon is surprisingly straightforward. You don't need in-app purchases or extensive playtime. Simply register a 2K account and link it to your Civilization VII platform.

Once linked, log into your 2K account and navigate to the "Connections" section. Complete the platform connection to unlock Napoleon.
Unlocking Revolutionary Napoleon:
This version requires a bit more work. Unlike standard Napoleon, simply linking accounts isn't enough.

You must own Civilization VI. Log in with your linked 2K account; Civilization VII will then recognize your ownership and grant you the Revolutionary Napoleon skin. Crucially, ensure your 2K accounts for both Civilization VI and VII are identical.
That's it! Standard Napoleon is easily obtained, while Revolutionary Napoleon requires Civilization VI ownership and account consistency.
