Classic 'Mon Returns for January Community Day

This January 25th, from 2 pm to 5 pm local time, Pokémon GO's Community Day Classic features Ralts! Trainers can catch this Gen 3 Psychic-type Pokémon in the wild, with a chance of encountering a Shiny Ralts.

Evolving Kirlia (Ralts' evolution) during the event, or within five hours afterward, yields a Gardevoir or Gallade knowing the powerful Charged Attack, Synchronoise (80 damage).

This Community Day Classic, a recurring event offering a second chance at past Community Day Pokémon, includes several bonuses:

• Increased Ralts Spawns: Encounter Ralts more frequently in the wild.
• Synchronoise Attack: Evolve Kirlia to get Gardevoir or Gallade with Synchronoise.
• Event Bonuses:
  • 1/4 Egg Hatch Distance.
  • 3-hour Lure Modules.
  • 3-hour Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense).
  • Snapshot Surprise!

Beyond the increased spawns and special attack, the event also offers:

• Special Research ($2): Rewards include a Premium Battle Pass, Rare Candy XL, and three Ralts encounters with seasonal backgrounds.
• Timed Research: Rewards include four Sinnoh Stones and a Ralts encounter.
• Continued Timed Research: Offers additional Ralts encounters with special backgrounds.
• Field Research: Provides Stardust and Great Balls.

Originally introduced in 2017 with the Hoenn region, Ralts previously appeared as a Community Day Pokémon in August 2019. This Community Day Classic joins other January events, such as Shadow Ho-Oh's return during Shadow Day and the anticipated Lunar New Year event.
