Three years after the successful launch of It Takes Two, Hazelight Studios released a substantial update for their acclaimed cooperative adventure in May. A comprehensive list of improvements was shared on Steam, showcasing the developers' commitment to their community. A particularly noteworthy change is the game's transition to full Steam integration, eliminating the need for the EA launcher. This update also brings complete Steam Deck compatibility.

Now, players can seamlessly connect with their Steam friends and invite them directly to join the adventure. Furthermore, Steam Family Sharing is fully supported. While an EA account remains necessary to access EA servers for online play, the update removes this requirement for local gameplay using Steam Remote Play.
