In an unprecedented move for the fighting game genre, Cristiano Ronaldo, widely regarded as one of the greatest footballers of all time alongside Lionel Messi, is set to join the roster of Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves as a fully playable character. This marks one of the most unique and unexpected guest appearances in recent memory.

SNK Corporation, the developer and publisher behind the game, has released an intriguing trailer showcasing Ronaldo's integration into the game's distinctive comic-inspired art style. Ronaldo brings his football prowess to the fight, employing moves like the "Headed Clearance" and a slide tackle, while also performing his iconic 'Siuuu' celebration. Notably, voice actor Juan Felipe Sierra lends his voice to Ronaldo, bringing the character to life.

Currently, the 40-year-old forward plays for Al Nassr FC, a professional football club in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, competing in the Saudi Pro League. The club is majority-owned by the Saudi Arabia Public Investment Fund (PIF), chaired by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
