Server Performance Issues Caused by Infinite Damage Build

The current Diablo 4 season introduces new boss powers that, when properly utilized, can create an infinite damage combination that significantly impacts server performance. Content creator Macrobioboi demonstrated this powerful setup in a May 9 video, showcasing how specific boss powers combined with a Legendary Aspect can decimate entire rooms of enemies.
This build requires equipping the Vampiric Curse Legendary Aspect, which applies a permanent Vulnerable status effect to enemies until their defeat, substantially increasing damage output.

The Flesh Reaper's Disruption boss power normally stuns enemies while removing the Vulnerable status, but Vampiric Curse prevents this removal, resulting in continuous stun cycles. Completing the setup with Varshan's Life Steal boss power delivers massive damage each time a boss power activates.
The combination generates an overwhelming number of simultaneous calculations, causing noticeable server lag. As demonstrated in wudijo's YouTube footage, the screen becomes filled with endless skill activations, permanently locking enemies in stunned states. He noted, "The sheer volume of calculations makes it completely understandable why this build causes such significant lag."
Blizzard Entertainment hasn't yet addressed this resource-intensive combination, allowing players to continue experimenting with the build despite its impact on game performance.
Berserk Collaboration Pricing Concerns

Meanwhile, Diablo 4's collaboration with the iconic Berserk manga series has introduced themed cosmetics, though many players are questioning the premium pricing structure.
While some cosmetics can be earned through gameplay by collecting Behelits and spending them at the free Berserk Reliquary, the most desirable items require separate purchases. Available free items include:
● Hawks Destiny Back Trophy
● Skull Knight’s Heraldry Mount Armor
● Brand of Sacrifice Marking
● Foretold Eclipse Headstone
● Od of the Berserker Emblem

The collaboration's primary appeal lies in its premium sets, available only through Diablo 4's premium currency system. These include iconic Berserk armor sets and accessories:
● The Berserker Armor, Barbarian - 2,800 Platinum
● The Hawk of Light, Rogue - 2,800 Platinum
● The Struggler, Rogue - 2,800 Platinum
● The Skull Knight, Necromancer - 2,800 Platinum
● The Schnoz, Pet Bundle - 2,800 Platinum
● Warhorse of the Hawk, Mount and Mount Armor - 2,500 Platinum
Each premium cosmetic set costs approximately $28—nearly half the price of the base game. Purchasing the complete collection totals around $150, or requires the 15,000 Platinum bundle that includes 3,500 bonus Platinum.

This pricing approach mirrors Diablo 4's previous World of Warcraft collaboration, suggesting a pattern for future crossover events that may continue testing players' willingness to spend.
Despite the high-quality designs, many players are reconsidering purchases due to the substantial cost. Diablo IV is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. For the latest game updates and information, continue reading below.
