Doom: The Dark Ages is scheduled to release between May 13 and May 15, depending on the edition you choose. If you ask me, this is the controller to get if you're only buying one. It features the most distinctive Doom design and looks absolutely incredible. It even has a realistic blood stain—I mean, how cool is that? Beyond the outstanding aesthetics, it's a standard Xbox wireless controller, which also happens to be my all-time favorite controller. It feels comfortable in your hands and works with a wide range of devices, including Xbox consoles, PCs, Macs, iPads, Android phones, and more.

If you're a serious gamer, this is the model for you. It's a Microsoft Store exclusive, so you can't shop around, but that's a small trade-off. This is a standard Elite Series 2 controller, which means you can swap out thumbsticks and the D-pad, enable hair trigger mode, adjust stick tension, remap buttons and rear paddles, and much more. In my opinion, it's the best premium controller available today.
