For those who recall, Barbenheimer refers to the cultural event in July 2023 when the contrasting films, Barbie and Oppenheimer, premiered on the same day. The stark difference between Barbie's vibrant pink aesthetic and Oppenheimer's somber, intense themes turned into a meme, with fans attending screenings dressed in bright pinks for one and switching to muted grays for the other. Kepler Interactive drew a parallel between this and the simultaneous release of Expedition 33 and Oblivion Remastered.
