Winter is coming, and with it, the Fantastic Four are almost ready to assemble in Marvel Rivals! Next Friday's major update brings The Thing and Human Torch to the game.

Get ready for a ranked checkpoint in just 10 days! Rewards await all ranked participants, with Gold rank and above earning exclusive skins. Grandmaster rank players and beyond will receive a prestigious Crest of Honor.

However, there's a downside to this update: a partial rank reset. Players will lose four divisions, a change that has met with some player resistance. The concern is understandable; losing progress mid-season is frustrating, especially for those who find the ranked grind challenging. This reset might discourage less dedicated players from participating.

The good news? Developers are listening. They've indicated a willingness to adjust the reset system based on player feedback. If the response is largely negative, revisions are possible.
