Final Fantasy VII Remake and Rebirth have received updates that fix the controller issue

Patches for Final Fantasy VII Remake are now available on Steam, the Epic Games Store, and PlayStation 5. This update resolves controller vibration issues. The game follows Cloud Strife, a former SOLDIER, as he joins Avalanche to thwart Shinra Electric Power Company's plans to destroy the planet.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, the sequel continuing the story beyond Midgar, receives update 1.080. This update enhances the game's realism and tactile feedback. The PC version launches January 23, 2025. This second installment in the trilogy expands the narrative and emphasizes exploration.

While Final Fantasy XVI initially underperformed in May 2024, sales eventually slowed, ultimately falling short of projected financial year targets. Specific sales figures remain undisclosed. Similarly, Square Enix has not released sales data for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, which also missed internal projections.

Square Enix clarified that they don't consider Final Fantasy VII Rebirth a complete failure, and remain confident that Final Fantasy XVI can still meet its targets within the 18-month timeframe.
