While Path of Exile 2's narrative might not rival The Witcher 3's depth, its side quests, like Ancient Vows, offer intriguing puzzles. This guide unravels the mystery of this seemingly simple yet confusing quest.

Unlike many PoE2 quests with clear objectives, Ancient Vows lacks precise directions. The quest activates upon acquiring either the Sun Clan Relic or the Kabala Clan Relic, found within the Bone Pits and Keth respectively. These relics are random enemy drops, demanding thorough exploration and patience.
Once a relic is obtained, head to the Valley of the Titans. Due to randomized map generation, precise coordinates are impossible. However, locate a waypoint; a nearby large statue with an altar will be the quest's culmination. Place the relic on the altar by dragging and dropping it into the designated slot.

Rewards:
Choose between two passive effects:
- 30% increased Charm Charge gain
- 15% increased Mana recovery from Flasks
This choice is reversible, though returning to the altar requires navigating the Valley of the Titans again.
