Master Chief Returns to Fortnite! A Guide to Obtaining the Legendary Spartan

The legendary Master Chief from the Halo franchise has returned to the Fortnite Item Shop! But for how long? This guide will walk you through acquiring the Master Chief outfit and its various styles.

How to Get Master Chief

The Master Chief outfit is available for purchase in the Fortnite Item Shop for 1,500 V-Bucks. This purchase includes the iconic Master Chief skin, complete with his Halo Infinite armor, and the Battle Legend Back Bling at no extra cost.

The Master Chief Bundle:

For a more comprehensive Halo experience, consider the Master Chief Bundle for 2,600 V-Bucks. This bundle includes:

  • Master Chief Outfit
  • Battle Legend Back Bling
  • Gravity Hammer Pickaxe
  • UNSC Pelican Glider
  • Lil' Warthog Emote

Individual items are also available for separate purchase:

  • Gravity Hammer: 800 V-Bucks
  • UNSC Pelican: 1,200 V-Bucks
  • Lil' Warthog: 500 V-Bucks

Unlocking the Matte Black Master Chief Style

Epic Games has confirmed that the coveted Matte Black style for the Master Chief outfit is still unlockable. To obtain this style:

  1. Purchase the Master Chief outfit.
  2. Play one match of Fortnite Battle Royale on an Xbox Series X|S console.

The Matte Black style will then be added to your Master Chief skin options. Previous limitations on unlocking this style have been removed.
